Im Skirophorion, am letzten (Tag), dem vier-unddreißigsten der Prytanie; von denVorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Demetrios aus demDemos Erchia; Beschluß von Rat und Volk;Hieronymos S.d. Oikopheles aus dem Demos Rhamnousstellte den Antrag: Da der Gegenschreiber Kallikratesin guter und gerechter Weise Sorge trugum die Aufzeichnung der Schriftstücke unddie Prytanen ihn bekränzt haben, und er auchim übrigen sein Amt in guter und gerechter Weise ausübte, wollebeschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden, dieausgelost sein werden zum Vorsitz für die ersteVolksversammlung, ihn einführen vor dasVolk und über ihn verhandeln lassen und die Beschlussvorlagedes Rates im Volk einbringen,wonach der Rat beschließt, dass man belobige Kal-likratides S.d. Kallikrates aus Steiriawegen seiner Leistung und seiner Gerechtigkeit gegenüberdem Rat und dem Volk und ihn bekränzemit goldenem Kranz im Wert von 500Drachmen, sobald er Rechenschaft abgelegt hat; und dass,da auch das Gesetz dies vorschreibt, falls er in gerechter Weisedas Amt ausgeübt zu haben scheint, er auch seitensdes Volkes rechnen dürfe auf - - -- - -- - -

The Council and People decided.Hieronymos son of Oikopheles of Rhamnousproposed: since the recorder,Kallikratides, has managed well and justlythe writing up of the documents andthe prytanies have crowned him,and in other respects he is performing his office well and justly,the Council shall resolve: that the presiding committeeallotted to preside in the nextAssembly shall introduce him tothe People and put his case on the agenda, and submitthe opinion of the Council to the People,that it seems good to the Council to praiseKallikratides son of Kallikrates of Steiriafor his excellence and justice towardsthe Council and the People and to crownhim with a gold crown of 500drachmas, when he has rendered his accounts;and that, since the law also ordains it, if he should be deemedto have performed his office justly, he shall be permittedto seek from the People - - - [what benefit] - - -- - -- - -
